Day 1: No more than two hours’ drive from our starting point there is one of the most spectacular caves in the world - the Postojna cave. Day 2: A day dedicated to the exploration of the highlights of Slovenia. Besides the castle perched high up on the cliff, lake Bled also has an island with an old church on it. However, this is not all. There are more lakes and other attractions, all surrounded by the scenic Slovene Alps. We will spend the evening in one of the liveliest cities in Eastern Europe - Ljubljana. Day 3: After visiting the Croatian capital Zagreb, we will explore the paradise. Yes, Plitvice lakes national park with its innumerable lakes and waterfalls in lush green woodlands is truly nothing less than a paradise. Day 4: Croatia boasts with 1186 islands and today we will drive past many of them. The most difficult decision will be which of the towns is more beautiful - Sibenik or one of the two towns on UNESCO world heritage list: Trogir or Split. Day 5: Bosnia and Herzegovina is not known to the world only for its mid-90’s war but also for Medjugorje, by now already big pilgrim centre, a place of St. Mary's apparitions. The old Mostar bridge represents a symbolic connection between east and west. It was reopened in 2004 and it is now waiting for us to cross it. Day 6: Dubrovnik, known as a pearl of the Adriatic is an absolute must and no tour to Croatia is complete without visiting it. Yes, the landscape around it really is what the Mediterranean once was. Day 7: Serbia and Montenegro is home to not only tall and proud people, but also fascinating natural beauties and nice places. There is the furthermost marvel of our tour, St. Stefan, waiting for us. Day 8: All what we have to do today is to see some of the remaining attractions, swim in the warm, calm and clear Adriatic sea and to catch an overnight ferry to Ancona. Day 9: There are some very attractive places on the
way from Ancona to Venice. First we will stop in the oldest independent
republic in the world, San Marino, we will continue to the city of the
mosaics, Ravena, and proceed to Padova with St. Anton’s basilica.

Day 1: For a good start we will spend the night in a quiet village surrounded by the silhouette of the jagged mountain tops. Day 2: The reddish and yellowish Dolomites are probably the most beautiful part of the Alps. Exploring these mountains is a wonder in itself. However, our destination will be the prettiest village in Austria, Heiligenblut. Day 3: To end the day with Hitler’s nest, we will enjoy crossing the highest pass in the Eeastern Alps at the foot of the highest mountain in Austria, Grossglockner, and we will be stretching our necks to see the highest composition of waterfalls in Europe. Throughout the journey we will be accompanied by numerous lakes and castles. Day 4: Do you know what was the New York of prehistory?
Which spa was stylish enough to be chosen by the emperor Franz Joseph
for his holiday? Do you know which is the German and Austrian honey-mooners
favourite area? You will see it all in the Salzkammergut region. Day 6: Yes, Munich requires a whole day of our attention and you’ll appreciate a quiet Bavarian village for the overnight. Day 7: The Castles of Ludvik II, lakes, monasteries, mountains – this is Bavaria. God and people have created perfect harmony here which you'll be able to feel in this special landscape. Day 8: Innsbruck is the place of two Olympic games but its Golden roof and many other attributes won’t stop us from heading towards lake Garda in Italy. Day 9: After all the fascinating Alpine scenery, we
find ourselves trapped in the Italian elegance at its best all along the
lake Garda. What about Verona? Juliet's balcony is certainly not all that
can be seen in this jewel among the Italian cities. Venice will be the
place to crown our tour. |

Day 1: On this day we won’t drive too far. Instead, we will enjoy Romeo and Juliet’s Verona. We will spend the night by the shores of lake Garda. Day 2: Which of the north Italian lakes is prettier? Today we are going to explore lake Garda and continue towards the most elite among the winter resorts: St. Moritz. It’s a good idea to make a part of the way by Bernina express train. Day 3: This morning we will speak Romansch, the only
true Swiss language, in such exclusive places like Davos and Klosters.
The duchy of Liechenstein is on our way to lake Costanz. It is a bit obscure
but nevertheless very interesting. Day 5: This will be the day of lakes, high mountains and such perfect places as Luzern, Brienz, Interlaken and Thun. Of course we won’t forget to go at the foot of miss Jungfrau, the highest mountain of Switzerland. Day 6: Swiss people are very proud of their capital Bern, also listed on UNESCO world heritage list. Gruyere is very small but it cannot be skipped either because of its good cheese or its breathtaking prettiness. Also, you will finally understand why all the crowned heads, blue-blooded people and various celebrities love to linger at Monteraux, Laussane and other places by the Geneva Lake. Day 7: There must be something special in the air of Geneva that made this city grow to such importance. Have you already checked the price of the bottled water from Evian in your shop? Today we will have a short stop in this French town. The next thing waiting for us will be one of the most magnificent views on earth – the view on Matterhorn. Day 8: To reach Italy we will cross the famous Simplon pass. The reward will be abundant: the three islands of lake Maggiore, each of them worth worldwide fame. But this is not all: Stresa, Intra, Ascona and Locarno are on our way too – ah, too pretty to be expressed with words. Day 9: More lakes and more pretty places on today’s
agenda. The best quality of life in the world is supposed to be in Lugano.
The prettiest village in the world is supposed to be Bellagio. The most
beautiful city in the world is supposed to be the last place of our tour:
Venice. |

Day 1: We will stroll around the excellent neighbourhood of Romeo and Juliet's Verona and we will spend the night in the area of the I-shaped Sirmione peninsula at Lake Garda. Day 2: Milano’s Duomo with the incredible forest of statues and the world-famous opera house La Scala will be a good introduction to the long miles of villas and stylish hotels by lake Como. When J. F. Kennedy wanted to spend his holiday in the most elegant village in the world, he knew where to go – he choose Bellagio. Day 3: Lugano, known as the Rio de Janeiro of Switzerland will be a superb stop on our way to probably the most picturesque of the Italian lakes, Lake Maggiore, with a line of towns competing with each other in their beauty. Each of the three islands on the lake will be unforgettable. Day 4: The drive is going to be a little longer but it will be rewarded with the visit to Portofino, the Italian number one summer resort, and at least one of the Cinque terre villages. In late afternoon we will check whether the tower of Pisa is still leaning. Day 5: The town of Lucca will be the highlight of the morning while we will dedicate the afternoon to the city where the modern world was invented – Florence. Day 6: Chianti wine is a superb product of the typical Tuscany countryside. We are going to take the state road no. 222 which cuts straight through it. At the other end of the road there is the medieval rival of Florence – Siena. No, of course we won’t skip San Gimignano, the town of high towers. Day 7: Today we will manage to have lunch in the eternal Rome. In the afternoon we won’t hesitate to admire its historical monuments. Day 8: Exploring Rome is a big task. We will combine our sightseeing tour with walking and driving. In the end we will be rewarded with a good rest on the Roman hills with a bottle of Frascati wine on the table. Day 9: Here we are in the Italian south, by the bay of Naples. In this royal city we will respect the traffic rules and we will be gesticulating with our hands. We will see the moment in which life stopped in Pompei and we will have an evening stroll around Sorrento. Day 10: The day for two exquisite places: The Island of Capri and the Amalfi coast in the afternoon light. Day 11: We will break our way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis, in Monte Cassino and the Tivoli gardens. Day 12: The Republic of San Marino, settled high up
on a rock is not a joke. It is rather the oldest independent republic
in the world. Ravena used to be one of the most magnificent cities in
the world in the sixth century. Today we will admire the mosaics from
those days before we conclude our tour in Venice. |
