Thank you for your interest in travelling with The Wandering Star. We trust that the information in the following contract will answer any questions you may have with regard to personally designed travels. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.


 
 
All travellers who purchase a tour from The Wandering Star (hereafter known as TWS) must agree to be bound by the following criteria, which form the terms of your contract for travel.
When we have received your deposit, a contract exists under which we accept responsibility for the provision of the services we offer.
TWS cannot be responsible for any errors or omissions made by any of the suppliers of services.


If the time of your arrival and the beginning of our service is after 2 p.m. or the end of our service is before 2 p.m., we will charge you half price and offer you up to 200 km drive. Any additional kilometre will be charged 0,15 USD. Full price will be charged in case of your arrival before 2 p.m. or departure after 2 p.m.
Delays cannot be considered the reason for the change of the price or service.

   
 
 
If you wish to change the date of your holiday after we have sent you the confirmation of your booking, you have to inform us about alternative dates and we will do our utmost to make the changes. Your lost deposit can also be accounted for the next season. Alternatively you may transfer your booking to another group of people. If we won't be able to find any suitable alternative solutions, your holiday will have to be cancelled. The following cancellation charge in the percentage of the deposit will apply:

Your group may cancel the holiday at any time provided that the cancellation is done by the person who made the payment. The following cancellation charge in the percentage of the deposit, will apply:

We provide highly customized tours offering maximal possibilities for our clients to create their own travel. This is a challenge for us but it nevertheless requires some flexibility, basic social behaviour and sometimes a bit of patience from our clients. This guarantees the greatest possible enjoyment on a travel.

We would like to resolve any problem that might occur on your travel as soon as possible. To enable resolving problems promptly we offer three levels of complaints:
  1. To our guides-drivers.
  2. In particularly problematic situations complaints can be made by our guides-drivers' mobile phone to our company staff. We will do our best to resolve any problem as soon as possible.
  3. Any written complaint must be received by TWS within 30 days after your arrival to your home country. We aim to respond to all complaints within 20 days of the receipt of the letter.
We must point out that TWS reserves the unconditional right to terminate a passenger's holiday in case of unreasonable conduct, which in our opinion is likely to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to our guides-drivers or to any third party. If you are prevented from travelling as a result of such termination, our responsibility for your holiday ceases. Full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may incur. In case of particularly exceeding and unjustified complaining we will bring you back to Venice, terminate the travel and refund you 50 % of the payment for the rest of the booked holiday.

   
 
 
We promise to do our best for the people with special needs or people who may have special requests.
We cannot accept any responsibility for the consequences on your health, which can be caused by travel.


You must ensure that you have a valid passport and visas (if necessary); we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered if you do not.
You are co-responsible for ensuring a convenient and safe pick-up point when you are arranging to meet with your driver-guide.
We would ask you to restrict your luggage to one medium-size suitcase per person weighing no more than 20 kilograms. In case your luggage will fit our restrictions, the driver-guide will handle it.
We cannot accept responsibility for the hand luggage at any time.
Smoking is not allowed in our vehicles.

   
 
 
We highly recommend you to take out insurance to cover you in the event of illness, personal injury or death during the course of your holiday.


We accept the responsibility for ensuring that all the component parts of your holiday, which come under our responsibility, are supplied to you at a reasonable standard.
If we fail to provide the service within a reasonable standard, we will pay you adequate compensation unless the non-provision was due to the circumstances which we could not predict and which were beyond our control.
For all claims other than death or personal injury which result from our improper performance of the contract by and in circumstances in which you stay for the whole or only a part of the holiday, our liability is limited to the total cost of the holiday.


   
 
  Your contract made under the terms of this Fair Trading Agreement is subject to Slovenian Law and executive jurisdiction of Slovenian Courts.
