Skiing is definitely a fun and energetic way to enjoy your holiday, so why not look at these amazing destinations and decide where you’d like to go today.

Verbier

Verbier is a sleepy Swiss village that is a popular destination for celebrities looking to get on the ski slopes. There is a multitude of things to do besides skiing, and you can shop until you drop for a range of big name designer brands, visit the many bars and restaurants, or even relax in a spa to unwind after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Because of the altitude, Verbier has an excellent record for snow. Verbier itself sits at 1500m, and the highest point of Mount Fort reaches 3330m – great for not just skiing but also viewing the stunning view across the Swiss valleys. If you’re thinking of visiting Verbier we recommend the Ski Armadillo resort.

St. Francois Longchamp

The skiing resort of St. Francois Longchamp is located in an exceptional setting nested in the mountainside at an altitude of between 1450m and 1650m, making it the perfect locale for snow and beautiful views. Located in between the Mont Blanc mountain range on the north and with the Glacier of Etendart to the south, St. Francois Longchamp is a skiing destination for absolutely everybody.

La Plagne

If you’re planning to go on a skiing adventure with your family, La Plagne is an excellent choice. A skiing resort designed for families to have fun with winter sports, it’s located in the French Alps at an altitude of between 1250 and 3250 metres high. This destination has been internationally renowned for its huge, 225 kilometre ski runs for over fifty years, and is suitable for all levels of skier from complete beginners to more advanced winter sportspeople. It has a diverse atmosphere and there’s lots to do for all the family – it’s truly a skiing resort that caters to everyone.

Avoriaz

Avoriaz is a skiing resort that appeals to skiers of all ages and levels, and is located central to the Portes du Soliel ski area. There is access to high altitude skiing, and it provides skiers with some of the best panoramic views of the Alps.
