Nicknamed the ‘Sunshine State’, Florida has more than its fair share of sunshine as well, which makes it the perfect destination for anyone who is looking for a beautiful seaside vacation. Here are the top three beaches which you must visit when you head to sunny Florida.

1. St. Petersburg Beach

2. Siesta Key Beach

Siesta Key is another one of the most popular beaches in Florida, and the energy is almost contagious at this beach. It is nearly impossible to stay idle at this beach, and the alluring island sand will surely fill you with energy. The wide expanse of sand and the tranquil water of the Gulf of Mexico make this beach one of the must-visit beaches while you are in Florida. If you want to spend your time in a laid-back manner, you can go for a stroll through the beach, collect seashells and relax on the sand. However, if you want some more activities, you can also rent a catamaran or kayak from one of the many beach vendors.

3. Destin Beach

Destin has become one of the most travelled to places on the Florida Panhandle. This “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” used to be a really laid back, sleepy fishing town. The town still has an intimate and friendly atmosphere, however, the city has grown in popularity for the breathtakingly beautiful beaches it has in store for the tourists. The city has remarkably white shores, made of pure Appalachian quartz. Apart from being cold during the summer heat, the sand also gives the water an emerald tint, which makes a trip to Destin a unique experience.
